Excellent location. This recently renovated, nicely decorated, clean hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the Gare de Lyon. My 6th floor room overlooking the side street was quiet, had no street noise, and had a charming French balcony. The bed was comfortable. There is an excellent French restaurant nearby that is a great value for money and that the locals go to: Le Bistro Lyonnais, 6 rue Michel Chasles 75012 Paris. The hotel breakfast cost 15 Euros, was convenient & had a good selection (fresh baguette, croissants, pain au chocolate, expresso/cappucino machine, fruit, yogurt, cheese, eggs, cold cuts, etc.). I would stay there again.

The location was perfect for us next to the Gare de Lyon, but in a quiet street. Our superior room was at the top floor, and we didn't hear any noise from the street or from the neighbors. The room was well equipped and clean. We liked that the reception was open 24/7, this is very convenient for travelers.

PaLyM (Paris-Lyon-Marseille, if anyone is wondering what it means, as we were) could hardly be easier to reach from the Gare de Lyon. Room was very clean and shower is better than some we met during the course of an extended trip through France and Spain. No view from the window but we weren't there to watch people walking up and down the street. Location is good; apart from the proximity of the station it's only a few minutes' walk to the Couloir Vert and the river. Plenty of reasonably priced places to eat or if you want an expensive Special Occasion, there is the excellent Train Bleu restaurant inside the station.

Location is great and the facilities are modern and clean - perfect for when you spend most of the day out exploring Paris and wish to come “home” to a safe and clean room. Excellent staff. I would have rated higher if we had been assigned the same room as our last visit - it had a street frontage and we could open the windows and the air condition was perfect. Unfortunately on this trip the room was much smaller and at times hot. Great breakfast available for a reasonable price.

1. Less than 2-3 minutes from Gare de Lyon Metro and Gare de Lyon SNFC side. Gare de Lyon SNFC side has elevators. 2. 24 hour from friendly desk. 3. Great breakfast items and good coffee. Breakfast available until 11 am. 4. Surrounding area has cafes, restaurant and grocery stores. 5. Good proximity to bus stop and easy walk to Gare de Austerlitz. 6. Daily room service with fresh towels. 7. Hotel street is safe and fairly quiet. 8. Room is clean.

The rooms were clean and modern. Enough space for a couple traveling in the room but not so much space if you have 2 suitcases. The windows were nice, and outlets next to the bed were a big plus. The hotel itself is clean and well kept. It's in a good area with plenty of shopping and public transportation.

I missed the last train to Zurich and needed a hotel near Gare de Lyon for a night. I went for the Palym because of the good recommendations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I liked how modern the room and bathroom looked like. It had some futuristic touch. I know the room looks tiny on pictures. But to me, it never felt cramped or something. It felt comforting and cozy. Everything was very clean and in good condition. And the staff offered me to store my luggage for a few hours because my train departed in the afternoon after checkout. This allowed me to take a walk through Paris. I will definitely book the Palym again.

Very clean and comfortable with high quality fittings. Very close to Gare de Lyon, which has multiple metro, RER and train lines. 2 stops to Gare du Nord on RER. Staff are there 24 hrs and very helpful. The room was very quiet with a window onto a light well. The rooms are quite small but quality is high.

Having stayed here previously several times, returning is like coming back to an old friend's place or that of a family member. Ludovic always provides a warm welcome and interest in your days in Paris. The location is perfect for us being close to the train station and access to the Metro and RER train lines as well as several key bus lines, which give easy access to the major sites of the city. The rooms are well-designed and well-appointed for a comfortable stay.

I arrived late in Paris and needed a hotel near Gare de Lyon train station for an early start the next day. Hotel Palym was perfect for a number of reasons. Location is an easy walk of a few hundred yards to the station. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room, although small, was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. Wifi worked fine and there was a large TV (although I didn't use it). The bathroom was clean with soap supplied and a very nice shower. I was concerned that being on the ground floor it would be noisy, but not at all. I left before 7 and so did not have the breakfast, but the dining area looked nice.
